Belize City, Mon. Nov. 3, 2008 - The country has seen two murders
in the last week and within a two day span, between Sunday and yesterday,
Police have been to the crime scenes for four additional, but separate murders.
One died by gun and the other three by knives after they were stabbed multiple
times. An elderly man was killed in Ladyville on Sunday and yesterday, two
Chinese businessmen were murdered in Dangriga, while the last murder occurred
in Belize City last night, when a man who is no stranger to Police, Kevin
Hendy, was shot to death in front of his home. This murder streak has left
another seven children without fathers to raise them.
