BARROW & THE UDP HAVE DECLARED WAR ON THE PUP Print E-mail

Barrow and the UDP have declared war on PUP. He has not been throwing stones and hiding his hands. He has made it public that “ any PUP… that even imagines to step out of the way.. will have the full weight of the law come crashing down on his head..” This simply means that Barrow will send out his people to spy and record those who are suspected PUPs. Let’s get it clear: if you throw a piece of paper on the road by mistake, you could go to jail if you are a PUP. If you wear a cloth that is certain color- a hue unacceptable to the UDP, you may be arrested, have charges falsely levied against you and harassed.

Why Prices Are Increasing Globally? Print E-mail

Globally the prices of goods and services are skyrocketing. To a large extent the rise in prices are beyond the control of governments but they are more a function of the effects of globalization and international politics. The wars in the Mideast and the fight against terrorism have definitely impacted negatively on the costs of goods and services.

This essay will attempt to show that anyone who tries to blame the government for the rise in prices of goods and services is either disingenuous or is simply ignorant of the facts. The truth of the matter is that prices have increased all over the world and governments can do very little about it.

WHY BARROW AND THE UDP DO NOT WANT AN ELECTED SENATE Print E-mail

Everyone in the House got the message. And we who were outside have come to understand it even better. The UDP have no change for change. The UDP are asking for change, but cannot even change themselves. All the things they are complaining about today are things they had the opportunity to do but refused to do because it will curtail their crooked ways. Even Delroy Curtkelvin agreed that the “UDP is crooked,” but not as crooked as some others. This is why they hate oversight. This is the reason they have been battering the idea of an elected senate. Even Godwin Hulse is disappointed at the UDP.

Before Moya became mayor, a lot of women would boast that women would make better leaders than men, or at least be as good. They were willing to point at examples of some women who have proven themselves. So they publicly endorsed Moya and shot her into office. But since then, Moya has brought nothing but shame to many women, and to her party. Even her party members have not been able to defend her rascal behavior.

I think the problem we have today is that the PUP government is so bent on pleasing everybody so much that it is hurting itself. And the UDP have crafted their lies so well that they are now able to make many right thinking people get a little confused. But the tide is turning around, and we are seeing better. Straightforwardly, the UDP will not become the next government because it is not basing its campaign on sound issues or proven records.
