A few months ago according to UDP rhetoric, there was
everything wrong about dealing with Taiwan, China, and South Korea. The UDP
made impressionable Belizeans believe that there is everything wrong with
having a bilateral relation with all those nations. They called Belize and the
Government of Belize all different kind of names for receiving much needed
assistance and cooperation from them. The UDP promised they would never do that
if elected into office. Well, it worked then. They were elected into the city
and town councils.

WHAT DOES UDP STAND FOR?
It is very heart warming that the truth is coming out before
the general elections. And Belizeans are beginning to get a clearer picture of
the two parties, individual politicians, and what they stand for. Obviously the
UDP does not stand for very much except their cleverly devised sweet talk of “…trust
us.” How can we trust them for all we have seen happening at Belize City
Council and at all other city and town councils?

The UDP’s odious “child labor” video hits a new propaganda
low. It is despicable and unacceptable. The video ironically embodies exactly
the same thing it ostensibly decries-child labor. All the national
organizations entrusted with protecting the rights of children should stand up
against this.

Crime Today – Who Is To Blame?! |

Almost everyday, a new opposition aspirant comes up with a
new blame tirade. They point their finger in every direction at the government
for crimes. They believe that they can solve the problem of violent crimes if
they become the government, (right now- in waiting) and that they will remain.
Some of them even go further to conclude that people commit crimes because of
lack of jobs. In fact almost all UDP aspirants have been heard casting
aspersions on black people by insisting that since things are hard, the black
person will have no option but to go and jack somebody. Is it that things are
not hard for other groups? Sedi, we have had enough of those instigations to
violence.

The past few weeks have been disastrous for Dean Barrow and
the UDP. But it has been a good time for Belizeans. It has been like a test the
people administer to politicians. And the UDP have failed big time.
