The roar of victory echoed at the Belize City Centre on
Sunday night as the masses rolled out in streams of blue and highly charged
political energy to thrust their party, the People’s United Party to an
election victory come 7 February. The mantra of the old party, which has its
roots in labour and a mass movement from the nationalist and anti-colonial
days, was resurrected with chants of “PUP, All the WAY!
Thousands rallied on with a battle cry for victory for the
PUP to propel the country forward and out of the hate, violence, oppression and
victimization of the successive vindictive leaderships of the United Democratic
Party.

so we must try our best to live with a plan and stick to our standards in life.

PUP READY FOR 3RD TERM
Belize City, January 21st 2008 - The People’s United Party is prepared to fight and win the
upcoming elections. In 1998 Belizeans looked for the PUP to build Belize, and
in 2003 they returned the PUP to continue the job. In 2008 it’s about staying
with Hope and Believing that Belize has much more potential which can only be
harnessed under the PUP.
The success in the Village Council elections, the July
Convention in Corozal with 10,000 strong, the Prime Minister’s successful
countrywide tour, the ongoing rallies which have brought out thousands of supporters
– these are all signs of the PUP re-organizing and gaining strength across
Belize.
