No one would be surprised to hear that the recently-unemployed Michael Finnegan who spent the last five years sitting in front of Brads by the BelCan bridge, now turned Minister, is firing poor people. But in this case, it is Finnegan’s wife that we are talking about. The good lady who knows what it is to be unemployed, has naturally, received a high paying job as Director of Youth for the Future. Guess what she is doing? Firing the youths using a fancy term of “restructuring” her office. Of all the things for the new government to be doing at Youth For the Future, they are firing young people. What the heck is going on?

Over at Bliss another Diane is at work doing the same thing. Diane Haylock also from the ranks of the former unemployed is now the Director of NICH. She too is sending out letters firing persons from their much needed jobs.

Imagine Leroy “Base” Castillo, a very talented artist and song writer, being thrown out of his job the same week he celebrates his wedding anniversary. And what has Marion Brooks done to be treated so cruelly by Diane Haylock after working for four years at Bliss. Why would Ms. Haylock fire Roxanne Durant and Tanya Broaster? What is wrong with these cold hearted UDPs?
