Esperanza Village, May 4, 2008 - Undefeated Camalote Cristal Parrot ladies  has a 3w-0 loss record in the Cayo district softball marathon which opened the 2008 competition at the Joan Garbutt Stadium in Esperanza Village over the weekend. They take on Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy in the final game of the marathon to determine the champs on Saturday, May 10.

  Undefeated Camalote Crtisal Parrot girtls lead marathon with 3 wins

The marathon began on Saturday, with the Belmopan Capital City Emeralds stopping the Unitedville Golden Girls 7-zip in Game 1.

The Roaring Creek girls posted their first win 7-zip over Blackman Eddy in Game 2.

In Game 3 Camalote Playerade posted their 1st win 6-4 over the host team, the Esperanza Wolverines.

In Game 4 the Camalote Cristal Parrot girls won their 1st game 8-7 over Unitedville.

In Game 5 Blackman Eddy posted a 13-6 win to send the Unitedville Golden Girls home.

In Game 6 the Esperanza Wolverines triumphed over the second Unitedville team 7-zip by default.

In Game 7, on Sunday morning, the Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy girls blew away the Capital City Emeralds 7-zip.

In Game 8 Camalote Cristal Parrot shut down their sister team, Camalote Playerade 7-4.

In Game 9 the host team, the Esperanza Wolverines sent the Blackman Eddy girls home by a 6-zip win.

In Game 10, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy fell for the first time, as Camalote Cristal Parrot posted a 1-zip win by a single run when Samantha Casey came home.

In Game 11, Camalote Playerade also got their ticket home as Belmopan’s Capital City Emeralds advanced 8-7 on the winning run by Teshia Lewis in the 5th inning.

In Game 12, Roaring Creek Grace Kennnedy eliminated the Esperanza Wolverines 5-3, and in Game 13 knocked out the Capital City Emeralds 6-2 to advance to Game 14 against Camalote Cristal Parrot this coming Saturday. 

The regular competition begins with 3 games: the Unitedville ladies challenge the Capital City Emeralds, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy take on Blackman Eddy, and Camalote Playerade seek payback from the Esperanza Wolverines, at the Joan Garbutt Stadium on Sunday, May 11.
