Juan Coy is driving a brand new GOB vehicle
Belize City, May 6th 2008 - UDP Minister Juan Coy is reportedly nursing minor bruises to his face which he received after his late-model Mitsubishi Prado ran off the Southern Highway about two weeks ago.

Residents are also curious why Hon. Juan Coy is now driving a new, black-colored Toyota D-Max, when his assigned vehicle was the luxurious Prado.

Government officials are tight-lipped about the incident, but the reports of the “crash” are all over Punta Gorda. It reportedly occurred along the Golden Stream area of the Southern Highway.

As to the Prado, reports are that it is now out of commission, that is, until GOB approves the huge bill needed to get it fixed. This UDP Government is spending money on new vehicles like never before.

Hon. Coy isn’t even the main man in the Ministry of Human Development yet he drives around in a brand new Government vehicle. Coy is a junior minister, under Eiden Martinez.
