47 and 14 will soon be joining the numbers that have not played in Boledo for one year. Friday May 16th will make it 1 year and 10 months since 89 played; 23rd July will make an year that 47 played and 14th June will make one year since 14 played.

The 20s series has not played since 11th March when 24 last played. It has been two months now. 25 and 28 are over due.

My lucky numbers for this week are 20, 10, 34, 76, 44 and 57.

DETROIT ADVANCES TO 6th CONFERENCE FINALS

The Detroit Pistons won the series against the Orlando Magics 4-1 to advance to their 6th Conference Finals. They will either face the Boston Celtics or Cleveland Cavaliers who are locked in a 2-2 series, with Game 5 to be played in Boston on Wednesday night.

I predict that the Celtics will beat the Cavaliers in 6 or 7 games.

The Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers are also tied up 2-2 in their series in the Western Conference. The Lakers take on Utah in Game 5 on Wednesday.

I predict that the Lakers will prevail over the Utah Jazz in 6 or 7 games.

In the other series in the West, the San Antonio Spurs, the defending champions, struggled in Game 5 played on Tuesday and lost in a blow out against the young upstarts New Orleans Hornets. The Hornets leads the series 3-2. Game 6 will be played on Thursday in San Antonio, and if necessary, Game 7 will be played on Monday at New Orleans.

I predict that the Hornets will beat out the defending champions in 6 or 7 games also.

So in the next week, the West and East Conference Finals will feature the Lakers vs. Hornets and Celtics vs. Pistons. Then the Lakers will take on the Celtics for the championship. Next week I will have more updates and predictions.

BELIZE TO TEST SKILLS AGAINST COSTA RICA

The Belize National Football team will be clashing in Houston on June 15th. The Belize team will be testing their skills against a Costa Rica National Team on the 6th June who defeated Mexico some 2 years ago.

Reports are that the team will also face off with a Mexican league football team in preparations for the big game.

These games will be like a measuring stick for us. Our showing will tell us how ready the team is. Already over 18,000 tickets have been sold. Telemundo, Univision, Televista, Gol TV and Fox Sports will all have rights to televise the games in Mexico and in Houston.

The Mexico game will be in Monterrey on June 21st.

Deon McCaulay and Harrison “Cafu” Roches will be in the forward, Shane Orio Moody the goal keeper, Elroy Smith and Vallan Symns in the defense.

CUBS REGAIN LEAD

The Chicago Cubs has taken back the lead in the MLB Central Division over the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Chicago Cubs manager Lou Pinello is doing an excellent job with the players such as Alfonso Soriano, Derek Lee and Aranio Ramirez. Kerry Woods is our closer.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are rolling. The Philadelphia Phillies are also playing very well with Ryan Howard and Chase Uttley having another outstanding year, hitting a lot of home runs.

The New York Mets are not doing too badly. The other New York team, the Yankees, is playing at .500 ball at the moment.

The Atlanta Braves are struggling, the Red Soxs are doing their thing, the Diamond Backs got swept by my Chicago Cubs and they have the best offense.

INJURY CANCELS MOSLEY-JUDAH FIGHT

The much anticipated “Sugar” Shane Mosley vs. Zab Judah bout scheduled at the end of the month has been called off.

Reports are that Judah slipped in the shower and cut his right arm, requiring over 50 stitches. This called off the fight, and both Mosley and Judah camps have cited that it won’t be re-scheduled.

It has been reported that Mosley may fight Ricardo Mayorga instead.

Get ready Belize, Miguel Cotto takes on Antonio Margarito on the 26th of July. Floyd “Pretty-Boy” Mayweather wants Oscar de la Hoya in the summer. Bernard Hopkins will retire very soon. Joe Calzaghe wants Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson the Jamaican.

Manny Pacquiao will go to war very soon against Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. who is fighting very well.
