Richard Young Sr., 69, an unemployed man of #23
Los Lagos, who allegedly burglarized Jr. Fish Shop and Yankee Wear, located at
Mile 2 ½ on the Northern Highway, the property of his son, was charged with
burglary when he appeared in the #3 Magistrate’s Court on Monday, August 3.
Young pled not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate
Tracy Sosa offered him bail of $4,000 and adjourned his case until September
14, 2009. The burglary occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on July 26.
Richard Young Jr., the son of the defendant, reported to the Police that his
father had access to a key to the business place and he used it without
permission to open the shop and steal all the items on sale.
The
stolen items included an assortment of clothing, footwear, polo hats, 2 fishing
rods, jewelry, wrist watches, leather belts and 40 pounds of fish. The items
amounted to $5,265 in value. Richard Young Sr. did not meet bail so he was
