Team M & M
Engineering’s Guatemalan import Julio Padilla won the 4th Stage, a
90 mile ride from the top of the hill in San Ignacio to Benque Viejo del Carmen
and back to Belize City on Sunday, but his total time was 2nd to
Putt’s and he had to settle for the 2nd prize and trophy.
Team C-Ray’s Lloyd
Andrews finished Stage 4 in 2nd place in 4:08:46, but his total time
of 11:46:39 put him at 7th place overall.
Team Vega Crystal’s Austin Armstrong outsprinted Team Smart’s
Eduardo Reyes of Orange Walk for 4th place, clocking
4:10:11in the 4th stage, but Reyes’ total time of 11:33:27 won him
3rd prize overall. Armstrong’s total time of 11:35:15 won him 4th
place and a trophy as well as the M&M Engineering’s white jersey for the
best youth rider.
Team Indeco’s Kyle
Gentle of Belmopan clocked 4:10:11 as he finished 6th at the end of
Stage 4, but his total time of 11:58:54 put him at 10th place
overall.
Team Smart’s Juan Jose Cuellar Samos clocked 4:10:56 as he
took 7th place in the 4th Stage; his total time of
11:47:27 put him at 8th place overall.
Team C-Ray’s Claude Young clocked 4:10:56 as he pulled in 8th
in Stage 4, but his total time of 12:02:45 ranked him 13th overall.
Team M & M
Engineering’s other Guatemalan import
Cristian Quicibal had clocked 4:10:56 in his 9th place finish in
Stage 4; his total time of 11:36:10 ranked him 5th overall.
Team USA’s Angelo
Roman clocked 4:12:25 as he outsprinted Team Smart’s Marcos Isaac Martinez for 10th place at the end of Stage
4; his total time of 11:38:48 ranked him
6th overall and he had also won the red-and-white polka dot jersey
for King of the Mountain, sponsored by Vibes Radio.
National junior
road champ Richard Vera of Team Vega’s Crystal clocked 4:15:10 as he pulled in
12th, his total time of 12:06:29, put him at 14th
overall.
Team USA’s Drew
Albert clocked 4:16:48 as he finished 13th in Stage 4, with his
total time of 12:07:48 ranking him 15th overall.
Team Indeco’s Geon
