Moya has become a run away train. And Juliet is concerned that her foolishness and childishness could spoil their chances of winning the general elections, (wishful thinking) as if they ever had a chance. Finnegan agrees with her. But Joe insists that what should be done would be to just go ahead until after the election, “…then we wa tek care ah her.. just not yet.” They plan on victimizing their own mayor.

But like the garbage, no matter how they hide the dump, it shows itself. After a whole year of trying to manage just garbage, Moya decided to take on the garbage issue directly. And for all Moya’s supposed expertise, the best she has done is to move the garbage away from public view. Wow! If you really want to know how bad the situation is, just go behind there. You have a right to go and throw away some garbage after paying your $5.00 fee. It is pitiable! Even with the extra charge, they can’t still manage the filth.

WHY BARROW AND MOYA ARE FORKED TONGUED

They campaigned promising to clear the dirt and make Belize a celestial kind of city. They have failed woefully. They campaigned threatening to cancel contracts and remove several city council taxes – they have rather increased them or left them where they were.

Now they are campaigning again promising to remove taxes and cancel contracts given to a number of companies. Barrow is clearly a liar. He has not lived up to his first promise, and has no explanation for his failure. And he is actually convinced that we will go with the second one. Barrow is forked togue, plain and simple! Everyone knows that now.

BARROW WILL NOT REMOVE TAXES

Barrow will not remove taxes. It is a crude tactic that mischievous politicians have used over the decades. It has stopped working. Barrow came too late. Barrow is trying to snooker the people. But the people are not deceived. We Belizeans know better. Moya and the UDP have not been honest with $3,000,000.00. They will not be honest with three million loan from Scotia Bank. If you cannot be honest with a few, it is said, you cannot be honest with much.

If Moya, backed by Mr. Barrow’s legal intelligence, and the business acumen of Doug Singh, Cedric Flowers, and others, have not been able to manage a city, how can they manage a nation? No they can’t. Talk is cheap. When they went in, they found out that running things is different from talking about them. But we will not let them to go and ‘try’ managing our nation’s pocket. We are not interested in the experiment. Are we interested in the experiment Belizeans?! No we are not!! Therefore reject Barrow, Reject UDP!
