On their radio talk show of October 16th, they had no new scandal to lie about. So they spent the morning attacking an innocent and honest businessman. Attacking Lascelle Arnold for winning a contract to continue the professional and efficient job he has been doing all over Belize certainly made Joe and Juliet look- in the most respectful term- stupid.

Barrow definitely looks foolish for letting persons of such base character be his mouthpiece. I am not speaking for Lascelle, he is man enough to speak for himself, but it is just plain wrong and shameless for the supposed government in waiting to be attacking innocent Belizeans because they perceive a spark of hope in them- a spark of sympathy for the government in them. Lascelle has been a beacon of hope and inspiration to both Belizeans and foreigners alike. And attacking him just shows the desperation of the UDP.

JOE ENDORSES LAYOFFS TO KEEP MORE CHECKS

Joe said he believed that Lascelle’s contract should have been divided up so that other smaller Laundromats would have business. But at the same time he conceded that he collects three checks and deserves it because he works hard. Why should Joe be keeping three jobs with the City Council? Why would he not give up one or two of them so that other Belizeans can have a job?

Why would Juliet be keeping more than one job? If they are so interested in creating jobs, why are they so bent on firing people? So that each of them will have more checks? Joe was not ashamed to admit that on public radio.

Imagine if the UDP should become government. Imagine their arrogance and I-too-know behavior. You think things are hard now? Imagine if UDP were in government. Stay with your party. Stay with the PUP.

Even before the UDP becomes their dream government, they are violating the rights of Belizeans with impunity.

Reject the hating party! Let’s remain with love and the PUP.
