Andre Perez, Belize Rural South
Mr. Andre Perez, his wife, daughters, and his team, express their most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Maricela Gonzales. We stand in solidarity with our community clamoring for justice to be served in the untimely death of this young mother.
The conditions in which her body was found are indicators that her killer has ZERO regard for women. As a society, we are quick to accept emotional abuse/physical and sexual abuse as a norm.
We often blame the victim. It is time that we start holding these perpetrators responsible for their actions. Regardless of their rank in politics and our society. Our healthcare workers, police officers, social workers and society on a whole need to be sensitized on the statistics and cycle of abuse in order for them to effectively do their job.
As a society, we must do better and support women in abusive relationships. We cannot continue to fail domestic violence victims. We condemn the actions of Maricela’s murderer and we call on the authorities to do their due diligence with this case.
May they not fail Maricela and her family and bring the perpetrator to justice.

(Milin 2020)

Francis Fonseca, Freetown
On October 12 and every day we must acknowledge and pay respect to the indigenous people of our nation. Our respect must be in the form not only of words but our policies to uplift them and their communities particularly in the areas of education, health, economic opportunities, and the environment.//
WORLD TEACHERS DAY 2020!
On 5th of October and always, thank you to all our teachers for their service to our communities and country.//
Your vote matters.
Anthony Mahler, Pickstock
“My vision for Pickstock is for it to be a thriving division where our people can participate in their own development and have meaningful input in the decisions that affect their lives.”
Dolores Balderamos Garcia, Belize Rural Central
For the PUP Anniversary, BRC Standard Bearer Dolores presented the George Price Service To The People Award 2020 to Ms. Mary Rivera of Gracie Rock. Ms. Mary is a senior member of the Gracie Rock community and a lifelong supporter of the PUP. She has served her community and Belize with dedication. We wish Ms. Mary, her husband, and her very large extended family All Best Wishes. We are so proud of you Ms. Mary !! 💙💙💙
David ‘Dido’ Vega, Corozal Bay
Dido is committed to helping not only the people of Corozal Bay, but all the people of the district. There was a time when Corozal boasted the lowest unemployment of the country, a time when industries were vibrant, and the Corozal Free Zone was thriving. The Zone is now almost dead, and the industries have dried up. Dido will work to revitalize those industries and create employment opportunities for residents.
No matter when the general elections are called! The BAY is ready!
Our people deserve better! Dido is ready to empower all Corozaleños.
Candice Pitts, Mesopotamia
In addition to the other 30 constituencies, Mesopotamia will receive, at the minimum, 300 of those houses!
Our team, with the strong and competent leadership of Dr. Candice Pitts, will ensure the residents of Mesopotamia receive what they deserve and that Mesopotamia wins this time!
Her younger brother and pastor, Derrick Pitts, joined her on the campaign trail to lend his support.
Together, they have always been about service and the glory of God.
Our candidate is the very example of what hard work, determination, and the grace of God can do. She was raised on the south side of Belize City. Her mother was a single mother and a food vendor.
In spite of her humble upbringing, she was able to attend some of the best schools and benefitted from every stage of education, from a preschool program to a doctoral program. She received no scholarship from GOB nor from a politician. Instead, her tuition was either paid for by her mother, or she received merit-based scholarships from her academic institutions!
*Howard University, Ph.D. | *The Ohio State University, Master’s Degree | *Albany State University, Bachelor’s Degree (summa cum laude) | *St. John’s College Junior College, Associate’s Degree (Honors) | *Pallotti High School, Diploma | *St. John Vianney Primary School, Certificate | *Port Loyola Pre School, Certificate
Our candidate has great work ethics and knows about beating odds in order to accomplish her goals.
With this same determination, passion, and courage, she will fight for residents of Mesopotamia to receive the opportunities they also need to do great and to be great!
The Choice is Clear! On Election Day, Vote Candice Pitts!

Who spent 12 Billion dollars set in our 12 year budget?
Who got over 650 million dollars in oil revenues?
Who got over 700 million dollars in Petro Caribe money?
Who spent 640 million dollars from our reserves to buy BTL, BEL and BWS which has not been beneficial to the Belizean public?
Whose housing program started with trailer houses, then Nada, nada claiming that they gave 10,000 houses to the people by forgiving a few debts to their cronies?
Who squandered millions upon millions on road projects fleecing the national purse and delivering broke up roads and roundabouts?
Which government made all his ministers and area reps millionaires?
Which Prime minister promised that there was enough to feed and aid the Belizean public for years and years to come and then renege on his promise?
Which deputy prime minister had the gall to give $400,000.00 to his son as a freebie?
Which party has had convicted criminals running in their midst?

Greetings everyone! I want to express my best wishes to my opponent Mr. Antonio Herrera and his family in this difficult time. We wish them a safe and speedy recovery. To everyone, let us use this as a reminder that we ALL still need to be careful as it seems that the infection rate is spreading daily and no one, absolutely no one is immune.
Please, everyone, I urge you all to follow all the safety guidelines from the Ministry of Health. Together, we can survive these challenges in this time of Covid. Take care.
God bless you.
Dios bendiga.
Rodwell Ferguson, Stann Creek West
I am going into this election with 9895 voters spread across several miles. You have to be a giant to take on such a tremendous task with limited resources. It’s fun for me to walk and meet people especially in their homes. They allow me to lie down in their hammocks and we have a conversation.
I was in Santa Rosa earlier thank you all for accepting me in your homes. I can feel the love of the people once again. I want to thank the entire campaign teams out in the villages. I feel the love for sure victory is in the air.
Belizeans now you will see what a Government can do for its people under the leadership of the Hon. John Briceño. It’s long overdue. Let’s get ready to rumble. My people let me hear you.
Money can’t buy love and we cannot live off promises. UDP, you are the government for more than 12 years now. You should be telling the people what you have accomplished over the years. Do not promise what you will deliver after election when you will not be there. Hog wash! The people are no fools. They know you will not pay no school fees, they are still waiting for a proper pantry program.
Ramon ‘Monchi’ Cervantes, Orange Walk North
Monchi is ready to listen to the concerns of the norteños. He is taking notes on how to better our beautiful jewel. He is a man with a good heart and he is ready to serve the people.¡ Que viva Monchi, Que viva el PUP!
Julius Espat, Cayo South
Julius Espat is losing no time whatsoever in quickly activating his campaign mode. We met on the ground and he said he has never deactivated his campaign mode that he has permanently been on the ground living amongst his people is normal for him. People consider him as one of their own no matter the ethnicity, religion or language. Julius is all about Cayo South.

Oscar Mira, Belmopan
BARROW AND THE UDP HAVE MADE US LESS SECURE
When the PUP left office in early 2008, Belize’s homicide rate was 29 persons for every 100,000 persons. This rate has gone up under the UDP for their last three terms to 35 people for every 100,000 persons. In none of their three terms they managed to bring it down. If you feel insecure and unsafe, you are not imagining it, the statistics from the World Bank support what you feel with cold facts. The UDP have failed us in every way you can imagine. They don’t know how to keep us safe from harm. IT IS TIME FOR THEM TO GO! VOTE PUP! VOTE OSCAR MIRA FOR BELMOPAN!
#abetterBelmopan #prosperityandsecurityforall #freshstart
THE UDP AND BARROW HAVE MADE US POORER
There is a popular saying among grassroots Belizeans – when the PUP is in power, everybody eats. This might be anecdotal and sentimental but the people are right. They know what they see and feel. They might not have the numbers or the statistics but the World Bank does. So we analyzed the annual growth of GDP per capita since Independence and every time the UDP is in power the people have less spending power.
They have less, not more, money in their pockets. As a matter of fact for the last 3 terms of the UDP, the growth of income per person has been negative! This simply means that you have less money in your pocket now than when Dean Barrow came to office. We are poorer, much more than when he started. But you know what we have a lot of? DEBT.
We owe billions and we can’t say we have benefited. The UDP and Barrow have made us poorer and we have the numbers to prove it. You can get the World Bank figures here and do your own calculations.
Kevin Bernard, Orange Walk East
The people of Carmelita are getting their roads and drainage issues repaired after their plea have been falling to deaf ears of the Orange Walk East UDP Representative. An Area that has been abandoned for over the past 5 years is just a mere image of the failure of the UDP representative.
People living in swamps and bushes. With efforts from the Chairman Mr. Victor Polanco, Mayor Kevin Bernard and community members’ works is underway to repair some very degraded and unattended streets. The People of Orange Walk East Deserve Better.
